The Organization:
Chatting to Wellness is a budding non-profit in the GTA that works to improve the mental health of seniors by combating loneliness and isolation in retirement homes.

Chatting to Wellness has a small entrepreneurial team focused on including the best talent, regardless of age, sex, race, sexual preference, identity, etc.
The Ideal Canidate:
We are looking for a positive, interpersonal leader with a passion for healthcare and senior care, to lead all of Chatting to Wellness' volunteers across the GTA. This position requires the utmost responsibility and reliability as many youth and vulnerable populations are involved in our programs. This position is a phenomenal opportunity to understand the healthcare, mental health, senior care and non-profit space.

The Position:
This position will support the Head of Volunteer Engagement and their management and maintenance of all our volunteers across Southern Ontario. One (to two) roles are available.
This person will have the following responsibilities:

Ensure programs are conducted correctly

Lead volunteers and ensure they are engaged, valued and safe

Be a problem solver for any problems that may arise at our partnered locations

Communicate information effectively Chatting to Wellness team to volunteers

Will semi-regularly have to visit partnered locations to support volunteers

Be part of weekly team calls

This position is remote, has flexible hours, unpaid, and will require 5-10hrs/week
​
*If you have not volunteered for Chatting to Wellness in the past, you are required to complete at least one cycle as a Chatter, volunteering on Saturday mornings from 9am-12pm. This can be done simultaneously with this position. Apply below and to be a Chatter here.
